Privacy policy
Short version: this site doesn't track you. We only use what you email us, to fill your order.
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit gridgrips.com (the “Site”) or order from GridGrips by email.
What this site collects
The Site uses no cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, tracking scripts or third-party embeds. It has no accounts, logins or forms that send data to us.
Like any website, the Site is served by a hosting provider, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request) for security and to keep the Site running.
Links to our social media pages and to our film on YouTube take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
What you send us
When you email us to place an order or ask a question, we receive whatever you include — typically your name, email address, shipping address, and the details of your order. We refer to this as “Order Information”.
The order button on our product pages only opens your own email app with a message filled in. Nothing is sent to us until you send that email yourself.
How we use your information
We use Order Information to:
- Reply to you and answer your questions
- Send you an invoice and process your order
- Arrange shipping, including sharing your name and address with the shipping carrier
- Handle returns, refunds and support
If you pay an invoice online, the payment is handled by the payment provider named on the invoice, under its own privacy policy. We do not store your card details.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails.
Sharing your information
We share Order Information only as needed to fill your order (for example, with the shipping carrier and payment provider), or to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us at the address below. If you are a European resident, please note that we process your information in order to fulfill contracts we have with you (for example, an order you place with us), and that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Data retention
When you place an order, we will keep your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
Minors
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
